Couples Information

The following areas are often the reasons couples seek counselling.

  • Anger.
  • Jealousy.
  • Lack or loss of trust.
  • Affairs.
  • Infidelity.
  • Money.
  • Work stress.
  • Pregnancy.
  • Infertility.
  • Bereavement.
  • Family.
  • Cultural differences.
  • Gender differences.
  • Sexuality differences.
  • Differing parenting skills.
  • Frequent arguments.
  • Poor communication.
  • Addictions.
  • Domestic Violence.
  • Needing to tell your partner something but haven’t had the courage or found the right time to do so.
  • Stuck in a rut.

Counselling gives equal time and attention to both partners as sometimes it is difficult to hear and listen to what each other has to say and these arguments can become heated an un-manageable. It allows a safe place to explore what has changed, how and why this has happened, learn tools to improve communication, how to move forward together, or re-evaluate the future of your relationship.

Fortnightly sessions are recommended.
